Membership Recruitment - n.a.u.c.p. believes that the benefits of health, recreation and competition should be
available to everyone through there respective auxiliary (dance teams, majorette squads & flag corps). n.a.u.c.p. will strive to expand its membership in order to share
these benefits with its auxiliaries and supporters.
Promotion of Auxiliaries
– n.a.u.c.p. will promote the numerous benefits of
respective auxiliaries through marketing efforts in order to continue developing strong participation.
Competitive Success - n.a.u.c.p. will strive to maintain the United States’ position as one of the leading
baton twirling countries in the World. Success at the elite levels has a positive influence on every other facet of
our sport.
Sponsors and supporters – n.a.u.c.p. values its relationship with sponsors and supporters and will continue to
maximize exposure to their products and services by members and supporters of our sport.
THE NATIONAL AUXILIARY UNION OF COMPETITIVE PERFORMANCE is dedicated to the development of the sport of baton twirling. Precision Auxiliary
Corp was founded in 2007 as a national twirling organization that runs democratically and elects its Board of Directors through
its membership.
THE NATIONAL AUXILIARY UNION OF COMPETITIVE
PERFORMANCE is
incorporated in the State of Georgia and is classified as a 501(c)3 non-for-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
There will be a National Auxiliary Union of Competitive Performance active in almost
every state with the largest concentration of memberships being in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, California, Florida, Texas
and New York. Many of the states will have State Councils which will promote and govern n.a.u.c.p. auxiliaries in that state. Every n.a.u.c.p. Sponsor or Coach at least 18 years of age will automatically be entitled membership in the Council
of the state where he/she resides.
N.A.U.C.P. is a sport-oriented organization, which
will sanction approximately 300 local, state & regional competitions each year. The organization will utilizes
a competitive format, which will align with other subjectively judged sports adjudicated on an Olympic level scoring system
where scores are shown to the competitors and audience immediately following each auxiliary athlete’s performance.
Each year the N.A.U.C.P. will hold the National Auxiliary
Union of Competitive Performance Championships and Festival. The location will rotate geographically to encourage participation
by all its memberships and to help develop auxiliary competitions throughout the United States. This competition selects the
N.A.U.C.P. Cup Champions in respective auxiliaries dance, baton and flag (individual & team). The Festival will consist
of competitions for beginner and intermediate individual and team auxiliary members.
