Fluid, "The Artistic Movement", is an artistic collaborative of choreographers, dancers & musicians seeking to express the complete harmony between music and dance.

Vanessa Chisolm, co-founder of Fluid, "The Artistic Movement" hails from Columbus, Ohio. Professionally trained in Tap, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Hip-Hop and Acrobatics, Vanessa began dancing at the age of 6, at the prestigious Pinnell Dance Centre in Columbus, Ohio. Vanessa has trained under some of the world's most renowned dancers and choreographers. At the age of 16, Vanessa, was a finalist on Showstoppers, national dance competitions' television show.

In 1996, Vanessa entered The University of Akron where she became a member of the world renowned University of Akron Dance Company. As a company member, Vanessa performed in fall and spring performances. Featured in a University of Akron commercial, Vanessa, sought to encourage young African-Amercian's to pursue dance in higher education. It was out of this passion that Vanessa, was one of the founders of Debonair Dance Ensemble, a collegiate dance ensemble.

In 2000, with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance degree in hand, Vanessa began teaching dance. In 2005, she became the Assistant Director of Tazz Dance Company, in the Atlanta area.

Looking to pursue her dream of dancing professionally, Vanessa, has background danced for several musicians as well as performed at various events in the Atlanta area: Sweet Auburn Festival, Hosea Feed the Hunger, Call to Womanhood, AKA's Pink Pizzazz Evening and many more. Vanessa performed weekly at Café Tu Tu Tango in Buckhead for eight months in 2007, with another Fluid member. Vanessa volunteered at Children's Hospital Scottish Rite Campus by giving dance demonstrations on Children's TV in 2007. She currently is the Back Stage Manager for Move Productions Dance Competitions in LA.
